Kanban
Kanban is the Japanese project management methodology that came to us from the Toyota plant. In translation: kan - "visible" and ban - "board".
Kanban gives you the following opportunities: visualization of work, the ability to limit each stage of work to unload employees, the ease of measuring the time of work. This is the 3 basic rules of this methodology.
If desired, you can add boards such as: development, tests, release, and so on. Kanban is a flexible methodology, each team can adapt the work with boards according to itself. Also, you can use it for personal planning.
In the Rukovoditel kanban-board can be applied to any entity. To do this, go to the Extension-Reports-Kanban menu. In the report form, specify the entity to which the kanban report will be applied and select the field by which you want to group the records. These are the two basic settings for this report.
For more flexible settings of the visual representation of the kanban-board, additional settings are provided that allow you to display the necessary fields in the itmen on the board and calculate total the numeric fields for each stage.
It is also possible to configure access to report.
Users who have access to the report will be able to move tasks from one part of the board to another. You can create tasks directly in Kanban at the selected stage of the work.
Note: if the kanban report is built using the "Automatic status" field, where the field values are set automatically, the ability to move the items will be unavailable and the report will be in view mode only.
